What to put on it

• Meeting name and the date
• Start time and expected finish
• The venue, room by room if the school is confusing
• What is being decided
• The childcare arrangement
• A contact for apologies

How to make one

1. Open the poster maker and choose the notice template.
2. Put “PTA meeting” in the title and the headline decision in the subtitle.
3. Add tags for the date, the venue and the childcare.
4. List the agenda, then download the PNG and send it home.

Parent group tips

• Put the room number in the tags — schools are mazes after hours
• Say how long the meeting runs; “an hour, we promise” raises attendance
• Send it twice: once a week ahead, once the day before
• Ask for apologies in advance so you know whether you have quorum
